Re: Hunting

Let's not start a thing here, shall we. I never really understood hunting untill I met my boyfriend. My boyfriend has done quite a bit of hunting, and when the opportunity arose for me to go with and see what it was all about I took it. He shot an old Blue Wildebeest cow, headshot. I can't remember ...

Re: Introducing my beardies?

I would suggest that you wait till they are both a bit older and the same size before trying to put them together. That is just my opinion though.

Re: My 'new' beardie, pics and a question or two!

They also love their salads. I give them a really big range of vegies - cabbage, carrots, ocra, marrows, butternut, squashes, mulberry leaves, parsley (which they love), sweetcorn, peas, tomatoes, sweetpeppers, beans and narstursium flowers. I use at least 5 types of vegies per salad. I also dust i...

Re: Skilly 7 weeks ago to this morning....

That looks awesome. I'm making one now too, but I couldn't find polystyrene sheets anywhere. Builders warehouse kept telling me, "Eish, sold out". The craft stores I tried was a bust too. I ended up using the poly from the elliptical trainer and the TV. Hope we don't need those again.

Very awesome. Huge congratulations. I had a quick look on the net and it appears that all Leaf tail geckos regenerate their tails.

Re: Introducing our new addition...

Coolness. There are few things as sad as lizards and geckos with bits missing.

Re: Introducing our new addition...

It doesn't happen as often with leos, but with carpets there is the problem of toes getting hooked on carpet. Our leos are on a bark/ potting soil/ perlite mix that is changed once a month. Our one female has been on it since we got her as a hatchling and we're never had a problem with impaction. We...

Re: Corn Snake thickness

Wait till he's swallowed the one completely. If you feed stunned live, definately wait till he's finished with the one first. I feed my adults 2 rat pups a week. They have less hair and more meat.

Re: O'Shea's big adventure

According to his website these aren't for sale anywhere. Apparantly there was a DVD company that approached him about it but they dissapeared. I had a look on Amazon and other DVD websites and as far as I can see there were never any dvd's made. It looks like your only option would be "pirated ...

Re: Iguana Room - Tunnel and Outdoor cage COMPLETED

Beautiful. Few questions though. How do you mow the lawn inside the outdoor enclosure and how do you prevent him from eating or just simply destroying all the live plants?
