How big is the snake? Does he lie or try breathe with his mouth open? I had a adult honduran milksnake I had a while back would also make a soft hiss as he breathed after prolonged periods of handling but there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. So sad... I've tried educating my neighbour, it didn't help... SO I appealed to his simple human nature and love of money! I told him that he should never kill a snake because it might be a different morph or have a strange marking and could be worth some decent money. I now get a call every so ofte...

Corncob doesn't handle humidity well. It starts to grow mold rather quickly after getting wet/moist/humid which is never a good thing.
