hey sh1rk3e welcom to the site, im also based in durbs and if interested i hav a trio of 1 year old beardies for sale, one of the females is a sandfire morph, im asking 1200 for the trio, they are nt skittish at all and hav great character. let me know if u interested

Yeah definately sounds like she has some babies brewing :),, boas do tend to lay on their sides when gravid, as u can see her belly is facing towards the light to try gain more heat, sun tanning if u wil haha , they giv life birth, this means ur gestation period is much longer coz she is basically i...

For hatchling u looking at anywher from 900 to 2000 a baby obviously depending the phase, garden phase being the cheepest option and any colour phase more expensive,,, for an adult u can look at anywher from 2500 up to 4000,, we do hav breeders in sa like snakes4africa, strictly snakes, creatures n ...

thanks for the comments guys, much appriciated. mr venom this is my fist time breeding her but she bread with the previous owner twice so im guessing a good 5 years hey.....will keep posted on her progress :)

i noticed this a day after he had a full shed, i always check the sheddings of my snakes to make sure no shed was left behind

the temp in the tank is at a solid 28 degrees and has very little fluctuation during the day, and plenty of space to find a cool spot. i think the problem is that i saw my tank was rather dry and this could hav been the reason. i now hav him on newspaper with a moist hide box and i aslo started soak...

i dont hav experience with thermostats but wouldnt it make sence to put the probe in the tank not directly on the heat mat? by putting it on the heat mat you are measuring the temp of the mat not the inside of the tank wher the temp is most important
