Yes. After some googling i agree with juvenile mole snake. Have never seen a juvenile. Only the 2m ones on my dads smallholding.

Just wanted to post this. I found an aurora house under a rock. It was bright yellow with a solid orange stripe down the center of the back. I could hear a clear puff/spit bit did not strike at all. On friday I let the snake go, and this morning (Sunday) I found it in the same place a caught it the first time. In the outside room under the same orchid asket. A cape river frog used to inhabit this basket ... its gone now. It seems this snake knows where it is and where it wants to go. Love havin...

On monday I bought two guppies from the petshop to see the snake feed. Waited about 30 min and all hell broke loose in the water container as the snake went for the fish. Even my wife who said to keep the snake outside (which I did not off course) grabbed a chair to watch the action. Think I am bitt...

I am not a snake pro but love reptiles. We bought a house in Gordons Bay in the Western Cape and so far I have found cameleons, frogs (cape river frog) and 2 snakes (snail eater and this one) in my garden since this summer started.
