Re: Spider Tailed Viper

That's quite possibly the worst and most annoying voice over I have ever heard in my natural life.
As for that snake, that is seriously fascinating stuff. Evolution is real :)

Re: My new GTP in his setup.

Thanks :) @ Mitton - No I won't be adding a substrate at this time as my current setup works very well, I have been through every substrate under the sun for aborial snakes and each one poses some form of a problem. Newspaper with this type of humidity starts looking grotty and starts curling up aft...

My new GTP in his setup.

Got this guy last week and I am loving this snake allot. Such a beautiful animal and very calm. He really doesn't mind being handled at all which is great. http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh549/NickKogel/20140918_230012_zps00d69547.jpg http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh549/NickKogel/20140918...

Re: The Fall of the Online Reptile Forum?

I have also noticed the decrease in activity but there are reasons for this as well. Myself and I'm sure many others have made threads here recently and the amount of replies is so poor that it makes me question why I even post anything here anymore. A couple years ago if someone posted a pic of a B...

Re: Baby, My Red Tail Boa.

Its nice when they very light with dark patterns, usually allot better than the common brown looking bci. BCC are not easy to get at all, its sad but very true unfortunately :( I have only now managed to finally get a pair after years and years of searching. I wish they were more readily available a...

Re: Newly aquired BCCeen

Thanks for the replies :) I am very happy with them. I have been after a pair of these since I knew what a BCC was but was never able to get them. Bushviper thanks for the confirmation on them being the real deal! I didn't pay for them as I was luckily enough to do a trade on them. The one is in she...

Newly aquired BCC

I got a new pair of boas, from what I can see they look to be Bcc, very small scales compared to my BCI, longer head, no crucifix, Very red tails, some saddles are peaked but not all, and the one boa has all his saddles joined. Also the shape of their bodies are very rectangular in comparison to my ...

Re: Usambara Eyelash Bush Viper Pics

I am only feeding every 10 to 14 days, and the temp is 21 - 22 at night and 23 max 25 during the day. This snake is now in an exo-Terra in my lounge out of my study where I keep the rest of my snakes, the temps in the lounge are cooler. Feeding these snakes frogs or geckos is not such a great idea i...

Re: Usambara Eyelash Bush Viper Pics

Just an Update, This Usambara is doing really well and has started to fatten up beautifully. I no longer need to tease feed and is all round an awesome little snake with lots of character. I got this snake from Apex Predators via Deon at the show. A very nice guy to deal with and very helpful, I wil...

Re: Golden Eye lash adult female with cage building progress

Thanks for the comments :) @ Westley Price - Thanks for the compliment on the setup. It is all artificial for now but I might at some stage put a few live plants in there, I tried the whole living vivarium thing a months or two back and it was a bit of a pain to keep right, I will need to do some mo...

These pics are all taken with my cellphone unfortunately. The first and 4th pic, I took prestic and stuck my phone to my snake hook to take a nice ste...
