Yes I am Capetonian. And if I may ask what gave it away? Accent?

And Yes that is coco bedding. I think i used to little, very thin layer, but it is a very nice bedding, so far. Well it looks nice, don't know how it works

1. Dont think the water will be able to heat the whole cage. 2. and i dont think the temp gradient will be big enough. also most of the heat will be at the bottom, then rise to the top. so theoretically you will be able to heat the entire cage, which you dont want. also if you heat the water remembe...

Just check if it is flammable or not. easiest way to see if it is safe to use. and secondly make sure not part of the foam comes in contact with water(directly). Just a silly questions. wouldn't it have been easier to by a corner tank and make a top accessed viv?

The one problem i have with screws is that they chip the glass. the glue should hold. and use marine silicone. if you're using screws try and countersink them.

Cresties like humidity, but not constant high humidity. General what people prefer for them is to spray them at night and mornings. so to get the humidity up during night time to give the effect of evening/morning mist. I usually keep mine at about 75-90% at night. then in the day you let it drop do...
