Re: Carpet colleciton

Also like the black and white. Am just wondering, if it's a possible cross between a jungle and coastal, why would that be a jag sibling?

Re: Breeding permits needed?

As far as I know you do not need breeding permits. Bit I suppose if you breed lots in a suburb, and your neighbour opposes to it due to smell and escaping rats and mice, there could be an issue.

Re: Interesting developments in Philippines

I think its the way to go. Seeing retics are not invasive and Burmese are(god only knows why). I reckon its the way to go. I would like to know the legal status of hybrids? Anyone of the experts who did the intensive study on which snakes classify as invasive species out there to answer?

Re: National Alien invasive listing

I wish you all the best of luck tyronen. But even if you get your permits,I think every keepers aim is to breed and sell his animals. But if it will be such a mission to aquire permits,it will be impossible to sell them legally. People will just buy snakes not on the list, which next time around will...

Re: National Alien invasive listing

Not surprised. We must realize that all this has nothing to do with invasive animals. The S.A government is a copy cat government, that tries to introduce things it sees in 1st world that generates money. Prime examples,e toll, carbon tax,all the continuous changes of ID cards, drivers license, gun lice...

Re: March Expo?

Will certain snakes (now illegal without permits) like carpets and burms for example,be for sale? As I imagine noone has permits for these species yet. Or is it business as usual,as even here in the classifieds all these snakes are readily advertised for sale.

Re: What Are These

Had one of these in my roof last year. Was also worried about rabies, because it acted particularly tame. And yes, quite a awful smell.

Re: I need info on Reptile Breeding

I also rekon breeding reptiles to make a living in S.A is very difficult, and the new legislation in place will just make it more difficult. However there is nothing wrong with giving it a go. But don't quit your dayjob just yet, haha!! Most of the guys would love to make money out of their hobby,ther...
