Hi Try putting them each in their own enclosure, I have had males blocking females to go to the food dish. Offer her a veriety of food, some mealworms, superworms or raoches. My female that does not want to eat is so fussy she only eats male turkstan roaches. Well that was what worked for me, the ni...

Re: tubs for my ball pythons?

I recon it's up to personal choice, the width does not seem to bother my snakes at all and a lot of my difficult feeders is eating like machines since I made this new rack. I think they feel more secure because the rack is narrower, seeing that they like tight spaces for hides etc.

Re: tubs for my ball pythons?

Hi We have a Mambo's plastic warehouse and I used a six division see thru tub that is aproximately 360mm x 800mm x 120mm and the nice thing about it is that it has the divisions, so I incorporated that tub in my yearling and hatchling racking as well, so I do not have to buy 3 or 4 different tubs. S...

Re: Exclusive mealworm diet results in better growth rates

Hi guys

I am by no means an expert I feed my Leos only mealsworms, but I add vitamin powder with the calsium and never had any problems,
every now and again I give them some Turkustan Raoches so the can run and "hunt" a bit for.

Well that is my 2c

Re: Retained Eye Caps/ Eye concern

Hi I have had this on some of my snakes in the past and all I did was to tip some of the water in the water bowl out into the tub and leave it for a day or so. It has always come right for me when I did this. If your snake is not in a tub, maybe let it soak in some luke warm water for half an hour o...

Re: New hatchling rack

Thank you Gustav. In my racking system that I use for Ball pythons I left an opening of 5mm for ventilation and I do not have to drill holes. I did this as I do not have a room where ambient temperature is controlled and by drilling holes the ambient temperature (temperature on cool side of tub) is ...

If I may ask, where did you get those kitty litter tubs, they are awesome and saves a lot of space.
