Re: leopard gecko ID please

Hi reptile

Yes those markings on the back takes the "super" away.
Super hypos do not have any markings on the back.

Hi PM Viper

Congrats on the new additions, both very beautiful specimens.
They are Hypo's both of them, the second one is quite nice with those short stripe like markings.

Re: bubbles?

Thats brilliant geckolover, i used to have the exact same issues with some of my leos, my adults now only get fed 3 times a week, 10 mealworms at a time and every alternative feeding i offer 2 dubia roaches.
Keep up with what you are doing.

Re: bubbles?

Hi geckolover The person to answer your question theoretically the best would be Morne (Docmorie). Those bubbles is called lymphatic storage sacks if i remember correctly, it swells up when the available nutrients is too much for the metabolic rate of the gecko, make sure the temps is correct and ev...

Nice leo Bruce, welcome to the addiction.
I might be wrong but that gecko looks like a tangerine halloween mask, really stunning.

Re: Moist Hide Substrate

You are correct viper. But over the last 2.5 years ive been using it extensively in my leo hides without any problems, the trick is to keep it moist as when it dries out it shaves to dust and thats what might cause problems.

Re: Moist Hide Substrate

I use a mixture of peat and perlite and it works great as humid hide substrate. Sphagam moss also works wonders.

Re: Rabid Evolution new addition 2013/2014

Hi Dylan Thanx for the kind words. It was a great pleasure to finally meet you and to do business with you. Will not hesitate to do so again in the future.
