I have no Idea what they are really called, I used to call them Christmas Beetles because they only use to come out and sing around December time when I was a kid.

I don't fully understand why there are those who get upset about such claims, either take it with a pinch of salt or go on your way, but within saying that people need to understand that this is nature we are dealing with, there will always be that one specimen within a species that just doesn't fit...

Its also a cheep way to warm up a room for those on student budgets lol, costs about 200 bucks to set up and from then on about R6-10 per use depending on how much your candles are =)

If your room isn't insulated (like my garage) this trick might help. You will need: 2 x bricks 2 x ceramic pots with drainage holes 3 x tea light candles 2 x small pieces of polystyrene What to do with them: Place one pot upside down on the bricks with the three tea light candles under it in the mid...

Brazilian Rainbows are really amazing snakes =) They can sometimes be a bit tricky to look after as a first but it is still very rewarding to work with them.
