My fellow citizens global warming is an issue I take very seriously. George Bush as he ratifies the Kyoto Accord.

You fail to take into consideration fish like many other animals have a tolerance range, if conditions had been sub-optimal they would not have thrived for the last 10 years which is how long we have had them without any issues. Which is proof in itself of acclimitisation.

Must agree with GaryF
But was referring to the idiotic cop at hand and the gun culture typical of the US. Wasnt meant to slag off all gun owners, if that helps !

I am not suprised, with that whole gung ho love of guns and its my right to own an arsenal mentality. Guns and stupidity what an appalling combination.

Freezing rodents and nutritionaL value

Hi all

Any idea on the loss of nutritional value of frozen snake food and if there are supplements that can be added. Also is there deterioration of the food quality based on how long it is frozen. Anybody ? Thanks

Allo all

I am from PE originally but am now staying in the thriving metropolis of Oudtshoorn and work at the Cango Wildlife Ranch as their mammals and bird keeper. But have always been into snakes especially fascinated by asiatic ratsnakes and am in the process of getting a northern pine snake.

Hey Unless im mistaken wasnt it Gandi that made the statement regards judging civilisation and animal cruelty. If anyone is interested there was a great article on atitudes to animals and the connections to human rights in a BBC nature magazine by a human rights layer. Will try to get edition detail...

Hi Chantel

What conditions are you keeping the laticincta in temp, humidity breeding etc. Also just generally what other asiatic ratsnakes are available with the obvious exception of the taiwanese ? Thanks
