Re: Safe plant for Carpet Chameleons??

i use ficus and th umbrella plant - whats nice about the umbrella is that the leaves make a bit of a bowl shape so when you mist the cage the leaves fill with water and they drink from the leaves :)

looking for person with female carpet which is read to mate

Hi All,

My male Carpet chameleon is very desperately needing to mate.

I stay in Bryanston area if anyone has a female that is ready to mate and is willing - i would be very grateful (please - he is very frustrated)

Roaches are awesome - i started with about 5 dubia to make a colony with (back when they were almost impossible to come by) now my colony is probably about 10 000 - 15 000 - its great you get all different sizes and they really easy to look after - and all my animals - beardies and geckos love them ...

ok..so i hae never had a female before....will they lay eggs even if they don't mate???? do i need to provide them with anything different and if so...what might that be???

not yet....the photos dont show it very well but she actually has a lot of patches on her back that are going orange :)

to start with we have lance as a VERY little baby http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii122/Beetle_juice_photos/DSCN8492.jpg then he get a little older...i think this was at about 2 or 3 months http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii122/Beetle_juice_photos/DSCN8526.jpg and here he is now at about 5 mon...

just thought i would add to this.....i keep my beardie under a mega ray that i ordered from america...when you work out the costs and benefits to the animal they are actually a LOT cheaper than using a Repti sun 10. i would recommend them to anyone they are simply amazing and you will notice the dif...
