Hey everybody, thanks alot for the info and possible id's of this guy. I have no other pics of him unfortunately. However I can talk to the owner of the place and see if he wouldn't mind taking some recent ones. Any particular body shots that you are after? Like I said he came in as an egg eater, I ...
Unfortunately they are not more popular around these parts either, Canada that is. We are actually just in the middle of arranging shipping for a proven wildtype female. So if hopefully all goes well she should be here in the next week or so. From all the reading we've seen on these guys, they are o...
Definitely correct on the name of the Pastel. Sorry about the mistake, and as such the snake is on its way to you as I type. Hope you enjoy him as much as I did...
Thanks alot for the info given about select species, and really sorry about the mix-up, hopefully will not happen again.
You mentioned "Northern KZN near the Mozambique border", where is KZN exactly? Thanks...

This guy came to me as an Egg Eater, obviously not what it is. Have had a few guesses on the species, but wanting to know exactly what it is. FYI, it is not with me, as where I live we are not allowed venemous reptiles. It is at a reptile zoo now. Thanks... Kevin http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...
Well sadly we only have a few different things to post in this section. Hopefully that will change over time. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/January2008027.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/IMG_0164.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/Nombi.jpg Thanks ...

Enjoy Kevin http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/DSCN6195.jpg (Not my toes) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/DSCN6086.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/DSCN5561.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/al...
Thanks everybody for the kind words. Yes the corns are pretty unreal looking, and it has been a friend of mines long term project (11years) to refine that pattern to what it is now. Best part he has such a large group that it has all been outcrossed, and they are fantastic. We've got 1.2 bloods here...
I have never seen something like this before.. its just wild to look at. Pattern wise is it just random or do some take after the female and some take after the male. Are the darker ones just a variation in colour or did they hatch later. Is it possible for you to post pictures of the mom full sized...
Thanks for all the comments and interest. They are very interesting little guys to watch. We did alot of research before obtaining them and even more after . We talked to people who had been keeping them for years and years as well. Yes they are from Irian Jaya, Papua New Guinea . In the research th...
Last night I was going to post more pictures but I was a bit tired and nodded off sitting at the computer, figured that was a sign. This is our lone male Saharan Uromastyx that I picked up at show a couple years back.. it took him about 6 months to adjust and stop doing "the dance" every t...
After having a veild and being used to the size and weight and then having these to handle is wild, you can hardly feel them and their eggs are about the size of a tic-tac. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/DSCN5607.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/jerksoul/DSCN5619.jpg http://...
