Re: Rain Spider

You may have to DIY I'm afraid..... Just get a big glass and a piece of paper. Put the glass over her and then slide the paper under the glass thus trapping her in the glass.... then casually walk to your wall and free her into the neighbours garden :-D They are not dangerous to you and help keep go...

Re: Spider headwobble

Both my spiders have the head wobble, it is inherent in this particular morph. I would not say the snake is unhappy or stressed due to the wobble, if it was they would not be such awesome feeders and breeders. In my opinion all collections must have a spider as they are great balls to have. It is no...

Re: TWINS - 5 X EGGS = 6 X HATCHLINGS :-)

That is very cool, twin eggs do happen..... You will probably find the babies will be smaller than a regular baby. This is because they had to share the shame nutrients that a single baby in an egg would have, also they'd be a bit cramped for space.... Pity it was not two spiders that popped out.......

Re: The Reptile Gallery ball python clutch #10 and #11

Nice....

That spider looks like she has rolled that egg out.... have you candled it to check if it is good?

Balls (and perhaps other species) will sometimes sense whether an egg is viable or not, and if not they will push it out and not incubate it.

Re: Another new one.

That is an unusual looking GS..... but you are right, the visual form of this animal does not dictate what the hatchlings would look like, so get him a nice het GS or GS as a girlfiend and make some hot looking babies.....

Re: Ball Python Setup: Help Needed!

No bulbs required, just belly heat. I keep my tubs at about 30/32 on the warm side with cool side at ambients, works well for me...... I use newspaper, but this is not so attractive if you intend to display. What has worked well in the past is astroturf, looks good and if you have a few pieces cut t...

Re: Black Back or HRA?

Yeah it is difficult to say I'm afraid, I'm not too familiar with Het Red Axanthics. As BV said, it is such a subtle morph that can easily be overlooked as a normal....

When in doubt..... Breed it out!

Re: Black Back or HRA?

Hey I do not know too much about HRA's and Black Backs.... You say that the sire is a "Possible" HRA, this would imply that the Red Axanthic is a recessive morph. The Het Red Axanthic is actually a co-dominant morph. So the sire was either a HRA or not, no possibles. The use of the word &q...
