Re: Dumeril Boa - Update

Thanks for the nice comments guys! In my opinion this is one of the most underrated species out there. @Mitton - I do have a male for her. He is in blue currently so as soon as he sheds I will post some pictures. He is about 75% of her size and is a very pretty snake. I was considering introducing t...

Dumeril Boa - Update

Hi Guys Just an update on my female Dumerils Boa. She is 4 years old and is an absolute gem. She eats like a world champion (a combination of rats and piglets). Let me know what you guys think. http://www.sareptiles.co.za/gallery/albums/userpics/14624/DUMERIL_1.jpg http://www.sareptiles.co.za/galler...

Re: Labyrinth Burm

Thanks for the nice comments chaps! @Westley - I would like to breed her at some stage, but I'll hang in there until I find a nice labyrinth male (preferably albino). At this stage though, I just want to get her eating consistently and let her grow slowly and healthily. @Brandz4 - I was bloody lucky...

Labyrinth Burm

Hi Everyone I thought I would share some images of my latest pride and joy, my female Labyrinth Burmese Python. I got her at the SOS Expo in May, since then I have been battling to get her to eat. Eventually we struck gold and got her eating mice but have since converted her to small rats. She shoul...

Re: Tasty chicken (DUW)

Gave chicken necks a bash this evening (considering im in the same situation with my rat supplier) and it went down VERY well!

One or two of my collection didnt seem sure what to do with them, but for the most part it was a success.

Thanks for the idea.

Re: Who keeps Dumeril Boas here?

I've got a sub adult male and adult female. My dumerils are easily my favourite snakes.

Will post some pics when I get the chance.
