Re: surprise egg drop (infertile)

Ja, seven years is stretching it a bit, but I would still try and incubate them just in case :D
They do look a bit small compared to her girth though.

Re: surprise egg drop (infertile)

Oh, and by the way, corns can store sperm, so if she was with a male a season or so ago, she could have stored some for "later"

Re: surprise egg drop (infertile)

They look a bit funny to me, but I have in the past hatched eggs that look like those, except the 2 on the left, they look a bit more dodgy.
I am sure there are other members that also successfully hatched eggs that looked dodgy, but still pulled through.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Re: C'mon tell us.

For me it was a Rinkhals of about 90cm.
He was as cross as you get after basking in the sun.
He sprayed me with a lot of venom before he decided to play dead. :D

Re: First Ball Python pre-Shed questions

I usually wait a day or 2 after shedding, just to make sure that they do eat, and not waste the food.
My corns will eat even while they are shedding, but the balls are a bit more "sensitive"

Re: First Ball Python pre-Shed questions

Go to a nursery and buy some peat moss or something similar, and line a ice cream tub with some moist moss.
Cut a hole in the lid, and put it in the enclosure close to the heat pad.
Mine loves their moss during shedding time.

Re: Axolotl Growth Record [Photos]

The pet shops here on the East Rand sell live brine shrimp and blood worms all the time, so it should not be a problem to get hold of them.

Re: Snake Quiz

Some of the questions are a bit strange, like the upper jaw fused to the skull thingy.
Read the questions carefully before answering.
I rushed through and could have had full marks if I paid more attention!

Re: HURRICANE CORN?

I have found that the problem is exactly what you described Peter120886. People see the pictures on the net and then, if the snake looks like a certain morph, they will sell it as that morph without checking their facts. Sometimes people are just lazy to double check, or it is a honest mistake. But ...
