Nice collection, Trayton...very nice, anytime you might want to show enclosure pics of the Pachydactylus barnardi, geitje, rugosus punctatus and maculatus...I'd be much obliged ;-) As well as how you keep them throughout the year...I don't know the weather patterns there at all. Thanks, Trayton...

P. oculatus

Here, Trayon...old pics. Working on getting a breeding group, killed my female from feeding too large of prey :-( http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d95/KenBartenfeld/PA048626.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d95/KenBartenfeld/PA048625.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d95/KenBartenfeld/PA04...

Not aggressive at all...sometimes they kinda will jump and hiss at you, but nothing more then that.

Thanks for the compliments!

Thank you, Kent. You are just full of advice. Was a pleasure reading your post and learning more about this species. I will be getting some soon here in the USA. I don't know exactly when, I am working on acquiring some other geckos first.

Enjoy your travels and wish you the best.

Could it by chance have been caused by sand impaction? I know sometimes that has something to do with it. I had a young pair of Nephrurus amyae die just like that.

I was looking at your sand...the size of the granules look huge!
