Re: Kruger Park pics - Identification

Unfortunately I only have those 2 pics, it could well have been dead as it did not move when I stopped the car to take the pic.

Kruger Park pics - Identification

Hi all, I was up at Kruger Park last month and I spotted this snake on the side of the road, does anyone have any idea what this could be ? Apologies for the quality, this is the best shot I could get out the window. I was thinking bush snake or something ?? http://www.sareptiles.co.za/gallery/album...

New Addition

Just thought I'd share a pic or 2 of the latest addition to my family, I got my new king on Sat. He is still settling in, very jumpy at the moment :) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/Pinky_da_goffel/sareps/f654b77b.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/Pinky_da_goffel/sareps/8e156888.jpg Re...

Hi Rad,

I use very diluted Jik or similar detergent (just like a cap full in a bucket) wash it with that and then rinse and hang outside to dry. Haven't had any probs using this method.

Keeping a Tarantula

Hi There, I have a spare tank lying around at home so I have decided to get a Tarantula, I was just wondering from the people that keep them if they are fairly easy to keep and not a lot of work ? As I work long hours normally so my corn snake is perfect low maintenance at he moment. I have all care...

Asbestos piping as hide

I found a piece of piping which I would like to use as a hide for my corn, it's been halved, the only thing is it is asbestos piping, so before I put it in the cage I just wanted to check if anyone knows if this could affect the helath of the snake ? I know asbestos can be poisonous.

It's kinda a no name brand I got from a pet shop, it just says it is a probe thermostat. I will organise a pic later when I'm home.
