How common???

How common or uncommon are Western Hognose snakes in SA collections??? Just wondering because I do not see many posts with them on this site... Here in the States they are getting more and more popular by the day... Lots of cool morphs... Plus they are really easy to care for and they stay at very m...

TIGERS!!!! These guys are just awesome... Super happy with the outcome... All have shed... They lightend up a bit but got much higher in contrast... Thanks everyone... Jen those are albino Hognose snakes. Gregg the gestation period is very short. I assume they are easy to double and triple clutch. She looks quite chubby so should be good for at least one more clutch. Hello my friend... She is already being paired up with a different male... Hogn...

Egg time...

32 days after copulation, 7 days after prelay shed, we got eggs on the ground... This is an exciting clutch for me... Got 12 eggs... 2 of which look sluggish and the rest look good... She is a young female at 14 months old... She was up to size so I figured she would be good to go... Worked out perf...

I can tell you with 100% certainty it is not Storeria dekayi... I am 99% sure it is Oligodon taeniatus...

Archie, That male is one of the few hogs that does not bluff... he actually goes for blood... LOL... He has gotten me a few times... I have been bitten by hogs quite a few times and have never suffered any symptoms associated with a venomous bite... Even my 5 year old daughter got bit a few times an...

This little girl is a pig... She pounded 4 one day old pinks... We can trade you for zim dollars? Seriously what sort of prices will your various albinos and these morphs here go for? The albinos I produce will go for $200 to $400 each depending on colour and pattern.... The Anaconda morph is a fairly new co-dominant morph so "visual hets" will go for...
