Re: Please HELP!

Mine also lost its hair when i changed its enclosure. Nothing to worry about. As Urocone said, just let there be a nice hiding spot or two so that it can relax, and don't bother it to much. As for the black stuff, i am not too sure. My T's hair also itched a hell of a lot. Always heard that it does,...

Re: Atheris Squamigera Vivarium

thanks for the feedback Graeme. i am from the KZN coast, so should it be OK if i leave them in the bigger enclosure through winter? They will also not be in an all glass enclosure. Any other ideas or photos of what i can do in the enclosure to make them feel at home. Any help will be much appreciated.

I have got the space, so i want to make it as natural as possible for them, and they will be my display snakes. I have heard and read on numerous occasio...

Re: vivarium blue prints.

MV what you can do is actually include a polystyrene backing and the same on the sides which can be inside or outside of the cage. This will solve some of your problems. Glass is more expensive than wood and breaks a lot more easily. Making vents in the sides of the cages is much more expensive and...

Re: why???? =(

Sorry to hear about your loss man. Its never nice to lose one of your animals. I agree with what Herphabitat said, your monitor was kept too cold and moist.

Re: Croc Dive

I was saying on an earlier post, everyone who has become bored with documentatires should wake an effort to watch this one its called "Into the dragons lair" . Diving with BIG Nile Crocs in the Okovango under the huge papyrus beds is fairly gnarly. Watched it and absolutely amazing. It mu...

Re: Sungazers - Cordylus giganteus

Thanks for the explanation Scottish Sungazer; you had me fooled that they lived in an outdoor pit. I love your idea of being able to watch them from another room with a security camera. All the best with getting them cycled to Northern hemisphere, I'm sure these lizards would do best when kept outd...

Dwarf Caiman

Hi there,

Does anybody know where in SA you can find a reputable seller of baby dwarf Caimans? As we all know there is a lot of funny people out there trying to make a quick buck, therefore i am asking for the "reputable". :smt017
