FROG ID please

Could anyone correctly ID this as either a (tree) frog or a toad? Area : Gauteng West Rand. Size : +- 2.5cm snout to tail Can climb vertical surfaces. Found in bathroom which is +- 1m above the ground so must be quite mobile. I have lots of clear photos of different angles, but when reduced to a siz...

Spider ID please

Last night this spider was on the verandah under the light, probably waiting for bugs. Location North Western outskirts of Jo'burg. I put it in a bottle to release later today. What is it?

re the size. It's apparently as big as an average-sized woman's palm of her hand or maybe bigger.

Asking on behalf of a friend and the spider is back outside where it belongs so no more pictures unfortunately. It came into the house, it wasn't moved. I know nothing about local spiders. Tarantulas lose their abdomen hair before moulting, but this seems to have lost most of its hair? Unless it is ...
