Babies from my 2013/2014 breeding season

Hi guys I will be updating this thread throughout the breeding season with pics of my hatchlings. My first of the season hatched last night and here are the pics of her. Re: Baby blizzard not eating and shedding problem

The Leo seems to be in good condition. Have you considered connecting a thermostat to the racking system to better regulate the temps? A ground temp between 30 and 35 on the warm side and an ambient temp of no higher than 25 on the cool side is what you should be aiming for. If you can't get a therm...

Re: Baby blizzard not eating and shedding problem

Do you have a humid hide in her cage. The most likely cause of the shedding problems would be low humidity or dehydration. Can you please give us a decription of the cage setup and temperature ranges and if possible post a pic of the gecko as well.

Who is ganging up on you?

I just asked you to clarify your statement which doesn't really make sense.

Re: Please help with Identification of this Albino Leopard G

Also remember in theory you will get 50% Mack snows bred to any other morph if one parent is a Mack snow but in reality you could breed out 30 leopard geckos before producing a Mack snow. The same goes for the eclipse gene. If you possess a possible het for eclipse the chances of it being het for e...

Re: Flooding the market?

I understand where you are coming from, with regards to trying to establish your name as a breeder, as I am trying to do the same thing. When I decided to start breeding last year I started with a trio of leopard geckos, knowing that i had enough space to keep all the hatchlings I produced in the ca...

Re: New future snake owner with questions!

Hi Robyn, as you are in the Western Cape you will need to a permit for whatever snake you buy regardless of whether it is indigenous or exotic. If you had been living in Gauteng then Rabidevo's advice would have been correct.

Re: Miscellaneous baby…

Can you tell us what your combinations were. Like I said there are visible HM traits so if there was only one combination that had HM involved it becomes more likely that this hatchling comes from that pairing, but at the end of the day you will only be able to find out what genes she has through th...
