Re: Miscellaneous baby…

Well she does have Halloween mask and lavender traits.

Do you not have any records of which geckos you mated this year?

Re: Serious Leopard gecko breeders.

If Something shows genotypically it means what they look like visually. Phenotypically is hidden in the animals gene. I think if you go and have a look you will see that you have confused the two terms. I did not say that it was hard to grasp that breeding rainwater to bell will produce "pheno...

Re: Corn Snake not eating/Advice on tank for corn snake

Hi.

Could you please give us some more info?

How long have you had the snake, what size cage is it currently in, what is the average temp in the cage(hot and cool side) and how regularly do you handle the snake?

Re: Serious Leopard gecko breeders.

Could you please explain what you mean when you say:

Rabid.Evo8691 wrote: two different albino strains showing genotypically.

I understand what genotype is, but I can't grasp your meaning in the above quote.

Re: Serious Leopard gecko breeders.

Leopard geckos are not blacklisted in Gauteng, but it is illegal to import them into the country. There is no ban on live animals being flown to Jhb international. For interest sake. Why will the breeder you spoke to not breed marble eye into red stripe? I haven't read or heard of anything to indica...

Re: Serious Leopard gecko breeders.

@Bushviper: Are you sure they are legal to import? I have also heard that importing leos is illegal. @Rabid.Evo8691: I am a little confused about your comments regarding breeders not being able to tell you if geckos are het free. Hypothetically speaking. Why would you be upset if the gecko you bough...

Re: Electric Yellow Blizzard

I believe the EYB's produced by Animaniacs are actually a 3 gene combination, but exactly which 3 genes is Henry's secret.

Re: Young Leopard Gecko, is it sick or hibernating?

As previously mentioned, pin heads are way to small and you need to check the cage temps.

You have given told the age of the gecko, but not it's length and weight.

How many mealworms was the gecko eating per feeding and how often were you feeding it?

Re: Roaches seem to slowly be dying?

Hi.

What size are the dead roaches that you are finding? If it is only large adults that are dying it could be a case of the older generation dying of old age.

Your cages sound like they are set up correctly, just check that temps are not to high and that there is sufficient ventilation.

Re: Breeders Subforum - Suggestion

Hey. Any updates as to when the rating system will be implemented? I was also wondering if there was a way to prevent people signing up as members just to place adverts on the site. Would it be possible to only allow people to post ads once they have made a certain amount of posts on the forum? Ther...

Wow, over a hundred morphs. I had no idea that there were so many morphs available in SA.

Could you post a list of what morphs you have?

Re: KZN reptile inspection and raids

Back to the subject of the muti markets. Don't you guys find it a bit odd that our government won't do anything to stop the slaughter of protected species for cultural reasons, but condemn the poaching of rhinos whose horns are used to supply what is another cultures muti market? I personally don't ...

Thanks guys.

All three of these geckos came from Henry's stock.

You should post a pic of your one sometime.
