Re: expo

No. I believe the conditions and venue was not a great success and caused health concerns for the snakes after.

Possibly a show in dec in midrand.

Re: Albino gray banded kings?

Its just sad that some hybridize to attain a morph such as this species.
+ Why would anything other than a normal grey banded king snake be wanted, they are just perfect as a normal.
I am not against morphs, just this species is spot on as is.

Re: Rubber Heaters

Silicone based cables are already used in the pet trade for heat cables. I would use again, depending on the type of setup I end up doing. I had them many moons ago, using a brand I can no longer remember, they lasted well and were reliable, in my case at least. I cannot speak for China based stuff ...

Re: Bosc Houdini escape artist

it_bit_me wrote:It might be a good idea to put that airvent on the inside of the cage.

I agree with this, it also crossed my mind.

I have typically on the past used two vents per hole, one on the inside and one on the outer for the type of vents I used to purchase.

Re: Bosc Houdini escape artist

Are you sure he is not always trying to get out because of something he finds of discomfort in the cage he is in. As he goes back to the same covered spot under your couch.
