Re: Ball Python not eating

If all environmental conditions are being met, yes this can be normal.
BP's are quite famed for doing this.

I stand corrected, but breeding season may otherwise trigger this.

Re: I did a really stupid thing:(

Phew, fantastic to hear.
I agree, dead food is just safer, but I like that "great violence" description, that must interesting to watch.

Re: Colourfull snake?

Check the ads, someone just posted a spider female for 10k. Too much personally but that's probably market value. If she's ok with them, then a ball is probably best. Getting tagged is par for course at some point. Complement what you already have in the opposite sex, perhaps breed later, I think yo...

Re: Colourfull snake?

Let's take a step back first and ask what kind of skill level she is in handling snakes, is she going to do the feeding and cleaning or will the species be an underlying plus on your part?

Is she overall comfortable with snakes, somewhat apprehensive, etc?

Re: KINGS!

Kings never grabbed my interest when I was younger and generally don't still, but this post of pics is giving me second thoughts.

Re: Dendroaspis angusticeps (Green mambas)-My babies !

Thanks Gareth ! p.s The mamba in Viperkeepers' is a Jamesons mamba, Dendroaspis jamesoni kaimosae. One day when I'm big I would love to have all the mamba species haha... Regards. Yup it is. But was just outlining the nature of Mamba's and how they become so accustom to captive life and us human's....

Re: Gareth - Randburg

Thanks guys. Vice's, I would have to say pythons and boas, however some rat snakes species tickle my fancy. I moved around a lot for several years so had to re-home the Burms and Taiwanese Beauties (these buggers always fascinated me), but now its time re-frequent myself again. Not sure species yet,...
