Good news, my Thrasopsfemale is stuffed with eggs again. This time i really hope they are fertile!

They can stay down up to 40minutes before they rise their upper body and stick their head over the water to get some fresh air.

I will take some more pictures of the snakes when i get back home with my camera wich i have left at work.

Bushviper I actually keep 0.0.6 of them. I have been advised and allso read on the internet to not add any salt to the water. "Many people seem to think that A. javanicus is a Brackish animal. True, they are found in Mangroves, Estuaries and other Brackish environments, but--they are also found...

Urucone That's true, they are shy to light and need more hours of darkness then light. I have notised that mine feed better when lightcycle is Light:8h Dark:16h. There is allot of floating waterplants that don't show in these angles and water temperature is set at 28,7 degrees celcius. Lickyoureyeba...

More Hydrodynastes gigas (False watercobras)

Posted it on venomdoc too but i know there are readers here that don't fancy that site so i'll post it here too ;-) Here's a few new pictures of my Hydrodynastes gigas pair and their setups. Not easy to set up an enclosure for this kind of species when they are just juveniles but i have done my best...

BV - I was going to breed them 2 years ago and my female I had got gravid but died when failing to lay the eggs :-( I have still not found a new female to try and breed with them.

alberts: Mine are doing very well and feed on just about anything i offer them. Chickens and mice mostly. Yeah, they are really accurate when spitting, i allways wear this headgear and my eyewash in my belt when working with the spitters. Filthy little critters but deadly beutiful :)
