Unique call-out in the Vaal

Hi guys well I had a wonderful start to 2015 regarding call-outs. a Few months ago I heard that there was a small population of Dusky Bellied water snakes around the Vaal Triangle(for you guys who do not know, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark and surroundings, Gauteng). I had my doubts as I have never ca...

Re: Heat cable but no heat

I always buy the 20w and 30w cables(yellow and orange cables) they are also about 4m, and they work 100%. I have found in the past the long cables(blue ones and green ones) just do not get warm enough, maybe its the length I am not sure.

Even today when I opened the tub to see if all was ok with her she still was in feeding mode and came begging for mor...

Re: First Attempt Building Enclosures

I agree with BRB rather use ply wood and seal it with something like woodoc marine sealer, if done right the cage will last a long time. But if you already have the melamine then no worries it will also do the job.
Post some pics when you are finished with the cage.
