Re: Bitis rhinoceros care

The controller keep the humidity at 50% no matter what the temperature is. However the air temperature is always kept between 22 and 26C. On very hot days the cooling fans will kick in and increase ventilation so that the air temp never exceed 28C and even with the increased ventilation the humidifi...

First Bull Frog find in over 10 years

Yesterday turned out to be a very special day for me, because it was over ten years ago when I last found a bull frog on our farm. For the last couple of years I've been looking for them after every major rain shower and I never found any trace of them. Yesterday was the first sunny day after 4 days...

I agree, lately I've only been visiting forums from my iPad as it's so much comfortable. I would like to have this forum in Tapatalk as well.

Re: Install Tapatalk plugin please

Hi bushviper, When you visit the Tapatalk forum owner area there is a option to prevent these "Posted by Tapatalk from my phone" signatures from showing on your forum. Since they can be completely disabled, would you consider installing the Tapatalk plugin now? http://i50.tinypic.com/14n2p...

Re: Install Tapatalk plugin please

My biggest gripe with that plugin is that every post adds in "Posted by Tapatalk from my phone" on every occasion. That really gets my goat. I dont frequent sites where this is so prominent that it is on every post. Thats true, but that can be disabled from the client's side though. Im no...

Install Tapatalk plugin please

Would it be possible for the site admin to install the tapatalk plugin for this forum?

It would make this allot easier for those on smartphones or tablets.

Re: Ferns

Actually a ficus tree will be at the top of my list because it's not poisonous and eating the leaves are not a problem. It's also a cheap plant readily available and you get many sizes and shapes. Those bonsai ficus trees are very attractive looking as well.

Re: Ferns

Yes, but even tree ferns are very delicate and their leaves break easily, so if you have a large iguana he is probably going to tare the plant apart very soon. I would rather go for a ficus tree or something similar that is safe.

Thanks for the information.
Yip my male Gaboon absolutely hates the hook he literally keeps
Himself straight when I try to pick him up.

Will post pics of them and their enclosure soon.

Any luck with those photos? Really like to see as I'm a big Gaboon fan.

Re: Gaboons viper

Welcome to the forum. I recently built a new enclosure for my large Gaboon and was advised to use potting soil as substrate and it works really well. you will see that he digs into the soil and leaves just like they do in the wild. I was told that one of the reasons a Gaboon lifts it's head when hol...
