You should have had a 3rd option for "does not really matter".
I have not bred Ball Pythons but with other pythons usually it does not matter who goes where, even a neutral cage\tub will work. If the snakes are ready to breed they will do so no matter where.

You can use a coolerbox, same setup as mentioned.

You can just build one yourself for cheap. What I do is take a big polystyrene box and put a plastic tub in the bottom that covers about the entire floor of the polystyrene box. Put water in the tub and 1 or 2 (depending on size) fishtank heaters in the water. You then set the temp of the heater\s t...

Gecko eggs are tiny so you can just use the medium size deli cups.

Ball Python eggs can just go in an 11L Addis tub, should be more than enough space for the eggs.
