Re: Gecko not putting on weight

Hi Danie.

How old is the leo, how much does she weigh and how long have you had her?

If you can answer the above questions it will make it a lot easier for us to give you advice.

You say she eating less than the other geckos so it is to be expected that she is growing slower.

Re: A mix of some of my youngsters

You've got some. Nice babies there. Are they all from the same pairing?

Re: White and Yellow Murphys Patternless

What I am trying to explain with no avail is that the W&Y trait on itself is a dominant trait but if hypomelanism is present in the gene polygenism is a significant factor. Like I tried explaining before to you Francois Leopard gecko genetics is more complex than just categorizing a gene to a c...

Re: White and Yellow Murphys Patternless

Please tell me if I am understanding you correctly. Are you saying in order to introduce a polygenic trait into W&Y geckos you would need to line breed it into them and that therefore means the W&Y gene is polygenic?

Re: High Yellow Siblings from 2012

Hi Danie.

You are confusing the high yellow morph with the hypomelanistic(hypo) morph.

Re: To breed or not to breed: Enigmas

You try to make out that you are the victim but with the way that you respond to people I'm not surprised you get the feeli...
