From what you're saying it seems your drive did not 'crash', which happens when a read/write head dives into the surface of a platter, mainly caused by excessive shock. To me it sounds like the control circuitry failed and the drive itself is still ok. What I would try is try to locate the same mode...
Sorry I suddenly saw now you did mention that. *facepalm* Ok connect the live from the supply on terminal 8 or 9 to terminal 1. Connect the neutral from the supply on terminal 8 or 9 directly to one terminal of the ceramic heater. Connect terminal 2 to the other terminal of the ceramic heater. Done....
What is the size of the image file/s you were trying to upload? I just tried to upload an image now and it worked fine. It could be either your images were too large or the server had a problem at the time you were uploading.
Ja, didn't read that, photos like that are usually accompanied with an attempt to impress or strike fear. Unfortunately there will always be people that believe and not question, and proceed to spread this cr@p around the internet.

Nickel and especially Chrome solutions are hazardous and highly carcinogenic, you're working with hexavalent chromium here so just be extremely careful adhering to ppm exposure limits. Even breathing in vapours from warm solutions can be incredibly harmful! You also need to plate at high temperature...
I've always wondered about that region, from landscape to critters. You've now filled a few gaps in my mind with your account and really enjoyed it. Thanks Sico.
For larger snakes you would need to gut them before the process as you would hear the decomposed matter sloshing around inside. *shiver* Yuk! You can neutralise the toxicity of waste cyanide solutions with a molar excess of caustic soda (NaOH) and hypochlorite bleach (NaOCl or CaOCl) to form non-to...
