New Tank Setups

Postby mania » Thu Sep 13, 2012 9:19 pm

Ive had these 2 tanks for a couple of years now, and a while back saw other peoples tanks which really looked awesome. So that put a bee in the bonnet for my girlfriend and myself and we made it our mission to resetup these tanks to as natural as we could possible make them (and how we thought would look nice) for my GTPs and ATBs.

So here is the first tank at the bottom for the ATBs:

then the top tank for the GTPs:

Then the two tanks together:

I know there are stickers saying venomous and that on the tanks but I use to have venomous in these tanks and its also better if the house keeper thinks of them that way :D
Hope you like.

Very nice man.

Always good to make it look nice! Those are stunning!

Have you read the art of keeping snakes by philippe de vosjoli?

Great book for natural setups

My latest addition, Cascabel rattlesnakes (They haven't got a natural setups yet as they still in 'quarenteen' in another room)

And lastly, my female Dumeril Boa gave me 9 hatchlings of which one was a slug.
So while I fed her decided to put the hatchlings in the container with the mom to compare the size for a photo :D

I seem to have missed this thread. Those set ups look awesome man, well done. That Green Tree Python with the lavender markings also looks insane.

Thanks Wadekilian :) Its crazy because that GTP went through a 'ugly' stage of all dark spots and now she starting to look pretty again :P
