Cage Size Rule of Thumb

Postby JamesG » Fri Nov 16, 2012 12:34 pm

Hey Guys,

There are many opinions on what size a cage should be for your snake. I have heard people say cages should be double your snakes length, half your snakes length and I've heard a formula where you times your cages length by 2 and add the breadth, and that's the max size snake your cage can hold. I honestly don't know which one to go with, I want what's best for the snake, what do you guys think?

Thanks
James

You can also contact your local nature conservation office as they usually have legal requirements.
