This is for anything with regards to reptiles which is not species specific or over a broad band of reptiles. Be it husbandry, caging, etc. you can post it here.

Morning all
What would be a good disinfectant that things can be soaked in? I.e branches , plants etc before they go in the tank and also for cleaning?
This would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Brian

Hi Brain

I use F10SC. It is the best and also the same stuff that vets use to disinfect. You also get a hand gel that I use to clean my hands before I handle my snakes.
F10SC is around R300/liter or R100/250ml but worth every sent. Also use it to clean bird cages and food/water bowls and toys.

Diluted miltons used to sterilising baby bottles etc, works great. You can also use a diluted bleach solution, but be cautios with that.
