Getting My first snake| Tips and pointers?

Hey I'm new to this forum, and though it useful as im going to be getting my first snake soon! I tried researching a bit and calculated prices and made a small list of what i'll need. Ill post it below and see if you can give me any tips or pointers on the list, or general care. Heres the list!

Caramel corn snake
Snake: Caramel Cornsnake 30-40$
Food:5$ every two months:
Cage:(Already own)
Bedding:9$
Heating:
-Pad:(6$)
-Light:(7$ Daytime only)
Care:
Optional: Repticarpet

Along with hides

Any suggestions of what im missing or tips on corn snakes and care?

Include a thermo controller, I did notice your currency use is $ therefore I can not give an estimate price.

I removed some of the list, including links(because they were to long) and my estimate was around 60-70 I believe. And the link I found(I can show if needed) Was temperature controllable. Thanks for the advice though!
