Looks like a gargoyle gecko but not sure about the body pattern.

Rhacodactylus leachianus.The the largest known living gecko.Same family as the crested gecko.

I have seen them chomp down a banana in about 4 bites. The first ones to be sold in the US went for $20 000 each. They are cheaper today but not exactly pet prices.

In the wild they are far more common than Crested geckos which were believed to be extinct at one time.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
