Cresties go through various colour changes as they reach sexual maturity. There is a difference between their night and day colourations. I have been fortunate in that my breeding bloodlines(which I have been collecting over the last 4 years) contain red. Most (90%) of my hatchlings fires up to be beautiful red or orange/yellow.
My breeding projects have been aimed at a variety of patterns with a red base colour e.g. red pinstripes, red harlequins, reverse red pins, red flames/fire and red bicolours.
This year I will be concentrating on dark chocolate base colours and extreme yellow/orange patterning e.g. extreme chocolate/black harleys and pinstripes.
