Well. ask him what he gave for the C. barbouri.
I don´t do this for the money any longer.
Now it is pure hobby.

I have been looking for people here to help to breed them.
I am not happy with sitting on the only breeding groups of this species.
I would prefere to let some people breed some for me.
I mean if I get any virus or sickness in my colony, all CB animals will be gone.
Better to split my animals along friends and breed together.

Price for Lygodactylus williamsi is high. That is correct.
But I think I am the only one that can offer Captive breed and born animals.
They do come in small numbers to Europe.
But so far only males has arrived and they die easy.

Hello,

Kent:My post was no offense against you, please dont get me wrong.I know, that they are really rare, and the prices i know are in my oppinion ok.But its also a lot of money. And i do the whole geckothing not for the money. When i can sell my breeded geckos for a good price, why not?Money for new bulbs, food, enclosures or new geckos.I prefer to trade, its the best.

I can understand your oppinion, because of losing a breeding colony is hard. And its a great success by you, breeding this species. But im sure, you will find people, who want to work with this species.Im interested ,too, but it doesnt fit in my moneyplan. :D

regards

Matthias

is that really a cnemapsis?

I have only got africana and one other species, and they looked nothing like that

as for the williamsi, i would take a few pairs of those.

Hi...

Thanks everybody !

Kent: If the price is the same for L williamsi as for those Cnemapsis barbouri´s, I think I´ll take some...
A friend of mine are going to visit you today I think, Danne Claesson, and I asked him to check if you have a male bibriongecko for me - it seems that I only have females... He is most probably coming up to me at the end of the mounth and if you have any male for sale he can bring it to me... And I think he also can bring all your other geckos too...

I took some more pics yesterday evening... It seems that at least 2, maybe 3, of them has eggs inside...

I´m not sure about this one, but I keep my fingers crossed...

And I also got some Praying Mantis from Kent - just look at these... The cricket is as big as the Mantis... Awesome critters...

Creobroter gemmatus - The Flower mantis

Pseudempusa pinnapaonis - The Peacock mantis

It´s quite obvious that the Pseudempusa pinnapaonis, The Peacock mantis, has big wings that they use to escape because they are "jumpers" that rather jump away then stand still and take a fight... I´m used to feed all my mantis with crickets with a tweezer but for those, it´s better to just put the cricket inside it´s box and let it hunt by himself...
I really must say that it was really nice to have some Praying Mantis again, and when I think of myself just one year ago I was going to quit this hobby because of my bad right shoulder, but now I have almost 40 geckos, some Milkfrogs, Praying Mantis as pets and breeding about 10 other different spieces of insects as food for my geckos...

Hellemar, now raising those geckos is going to be fun. They dont look very big so the babies will probably also be pretty small.

I also like the mantids. Some people keep spiders and reptiles and others keep mantids and reptiles. I think the second are more rewarding.

Yes a dodgy shoulder is not a factor with these animals. The advantage of being crazy about reptiles is that it need not be limiting when you look at certain groups that are interesting to keep.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Hi...

thorrshamri: Nope, I´m not going to Hamm in December... The reason is that I´ve got 4 kids that just love x-mas-gifts AND all of them are having their birtday at that time to:
Jonathas is having his birthday at the 28:th of December
Jesper is having his birthday at the 29:th of December
Jennifer is having his birthday at the 31:th of December
Joanna is having his birthday at the 1:th of January

That´s the reason why I´m not going to Hamm i December...

Kent: Sounds perfect - my females are longing for some entertainment... ;)
Off course I loved them...

BV: Yes, the adults are small and I think you are right when you say that the offspring would be small too...
In periods I´m keeping spiders and scorpions too - what does that make me ? Crazy ?
Yes, my shoulder have brought me into a hobby I never even thought I would think of, but now I´m very glad it did... :D
