does anyone know if there are any fiji banded iguanas in SA and if so where may i obtain some :?:

As far as I know Dragonfire down in KZN have but dont know anything more

LR I know there was a problem hatching the eggs which seems to have been sorted out now.

They are never going to be cheap by any means.

Here are some pics of Fiji Iguanas which were bred on Vanuatu island and actually allowed these animals to be exported around the world. Fiji does not allow the export of these animals except to certain zoos and they retain the rights to those animals.

These specimens shown here were found in Indonesia as "exotics" where they thrived and were commercially bred and then could be legally exported around the world.

dragonfire used to have a pair. The last time i saw them they were R30000 each. Just remember they are a small breed of lizard, fully grown they get to no bigger than 1.2 M

As far as I am aware, Dragonfire has now successfully bred these.
I also seem to think that they are now selling them at about R18000 or R20000 each.

I do of course speak under correction.
