They are not kept with much success in South Africa so not a very popular species

Where did you get it?
2:2 Pseudaspis cana
1:2 Dasypeltis scabra

And yes they are all on permit.

They are more successful in the hands of the right people ;)
The jackson keepers need to get together for breeding to make sure there is actualy future captive bred populations instead of being so secretive!

I agree with Chamssss would be nice to work with other keepers to get some healthy captive bred babies.

Iv'e seen some down here in KZN and they were kept outside did fantastically.

You chameleon guys are a secretive bunch indeed.

Yes, and such a shame, the market for chameleons would be a lot better if breeders worked together. Imports would be a lot cheaper and easier!
