I have always wanted a chameleon but always just left it cause i never went out and actually did some research.
I have never owned a reptile so i dont know if im gonna be to inexperienced to handle or care for the chameleon.
my gf how ever have a few fish tanks and 2 chinchillas that i help to maintain

I c theres a few housing methods that can be used aswell which wil be the best ?

*Explorarium
*Reptarium
*Teranium

I also see the chameleon needs lights aswell if i take for instance the Explorarium or the Reptarium how will light and floor heaters work here ?

Food wise i dont have a problem with and also not sleeping place

I hope this isnt to much thx for the help :D

I have never had a Chameleon either but have done plenty of Research. If you keep them in a Explorarium or Flexarium then you will need a 5.0 UVB Tube and a Heater should be fine on the side of the enclosure. In summer you can acctually leave the Flexarium outside but make sure the Chameleon has Shade. You will need a lot of Plants for it to climb on and will also need Calcium Supplements. Maybe someone with more experience can help you out here.

A heating light kept a few cm's above the cage will be fine. A 75 watt spot lamp will be sufficient for a basking spot. And then a 5.0 UVB light will be good. The best to use are the linear tubes, the best brands personaly are Zoomed Reptisun and Exo Terra

You can try. I think that the Flexarium are way too expensive.

No moonlight (or infrared) night time lamps needed. My chameleons sit awake at night if I use any of these. You will need a UVB bulb (Chamsss recommendation is spot-on) and a spot/heat lamp to give your cham a temperature gradient. A good spot/heat lamp is Exo Terra’s Sun Glo Halogen Neodymium lamp, since it offers heat and some UVA output. If you need to raise the night time temperatures for whatever reason, I would recommend you heat the room where your cham is kept, with something like a wall-mounted heater, which raises the ambient temperature, but does not overheat the area.
