That is a Flap-Neck Chameleon.

many thanks ! he was seen in Angola, Kwanza Sul province on the road from Sumbe to Vila Nova de Celas.

Hi all, and here is another one for you eagle eyed guys - any ideas as to ID for his young chappie please ? Snapped in Namibe Province souhern Angola (Namibe Desert).

Hi Paul,

That is Chamaeleo namaquaensis, the Namaqua chameleon. A species I would love to see in the wild.
The way to success has no shortcuts.
