It's rubbing off

A month or so ago I got my very first little spiderling. He / she is doing very well so far, which is great. I still am very careful about spiders as I have been bitten one too many time and should've been spiderwoman by now, but I'm not yet.

Anyways, yesterday I went to go fetch my daughter after mini cricket practice and she tells me she had caught a spider. She told me it was a mommy spider cause it had babies. I then asked her what she did with the spider she told me it's in her school bag.

Once we got to the car she took the lunch box out with the spider in and showed it to me. There were baby spiders everywhere. Little whitish scarey looking spiderlings. The mommy spider was dead cause obviously she had no ventilation in the lunch box.

She released the remainder of the babies in our garden at home.

I don't know whether it's a good thing, or bad thing that she is so eager about spiders and stuff as I am afraid she might pick up the wrong one.
