keeping Baboon spiders

While this can be considered a good thing, It doesn't bother me all that much as it will probably be years (if ever) that this sort of thing would be implemented in the Free State. For now, I'll just keep on keeping my exotics.

One question though:
If this get's implemented, where will they get the breeding stock from? Will they go to someone like Cerat or will they catch from the wild and setup a breeding program?

The idea is that specimens will be harvested (probably from areas earmarked for development) and then given to certain suitable individuals to breed. The breeding stock belongs to the state and the babies have to be sold off at "market value" prices with the intention of utilizing our natural resources. Approval for this is still required.
