Spider ID

Hi Guys,

My parents wanted to kill this spider before I stepped in, found it under our couch :-)
Any idea what this may be? :-)
I'm in Midrand/Jhb

Looks like a common hunting spider. The ones you get on the water. I don't know the scientific names for these, not 100% sure on the ID but it looks very similar to one. They generally stay pretty small and are harmless.

Thanks ColinWa, I researched on your suggestion and came up with a Choachella Hunting Spider, but it looks as though it doesn't even exist? I can't find any information on it ... :smt017
