Spider ID please

Spider ID please

Postby equilibrium » Sat Oct 26, 2013 6:56 am

Last night this spider was on the verandah under the light, probably waiting for bugs. Location North Western outskirts of Jo'burg. I put it in a bottle to release later today. What is it?

No pic attached...
I am going to guess rain spider though, as these seem to be really common this year.

Thats not a rain spider. One of the baboon spiders. Cant you just leave it in your garden?
