Don't want to step on your toes BV as I know you are very knowledgeable when it comes to retics but as I said if it won't eat I've found a small cage gets them to eat very quickly, after my retic started eating again I put it into a big enclosure again and eating went well, so the small cage thing was temporary to stimulate feeding again. Friends of mine have done the same and it works without fail:)

Jamster just watch out with males. They can reach sexual maturity at 7 months (very rarely) and then a bigger cage will work better when they are not happy. Best to try both sizes. You have to watch the behaviour too. If the snake is restless then the cage is too small and they often push against the sides so much that they even split the top lip. That takes forever to heal.

I'm lucky with my retic, I got him at a young age and he is as tame as they get. I got him in a 2 litre ice cream tub in 2010 now he s munching bunnies:) growing well but not too fast:)

Today 1 day after the ekdysis and 11 days after the last dinner, I offer to him one from my rats, frozen with open the head. It smelled him, it searched but did not eat. After I give him frozen rat that I bought, He took from far and eat. He still wanted food and I offer him again the first rat. Again the same, smelled, searched but not eat . I take out the rat and searched again for food. Now stay very cool, iam huppy like him.
