Healing nicely

Well this is the fella I Caught on the road between Brits and Hartbeespoort a while back. He had a fish hook in his mouth and was not looking too healthy at all. I removed the hook and cleared him of mites and ticks. My local Vet has been helping me with medication and treatment, so all is looking real good. He is picking up weight nicely and doesnt even hiss at me anymore. I can handle him freely and he does not strike or seem the least bit agro with me, but as soon as someone else comes close, he puffs up and hisses like mad, striking in all directions. I have him on a diet of medium rats (all fresh killed and defrosts)

Awsome snake! Congrats that got it healthy! I personally think you should feed it once or twice more and then release it again.
