I've also heard that they aren't that needy concerning humidity, but I'm not sure of that. Given the humidity need, what would be the right substrate to use with them.Bushviper wrote:They live in tropical environments and are often found near water. The heating pad against the side is fine but depending on where you live they might need a spotlight to keep them warm enough. Winter will be a challenge with the humidity and night temperatures. It might be required to put another heating pad in (on a thermostat) to ensure they do not get cold at night.
Also, what would be the right shape and sizing of their enclosure.
