This just made my day ! :D :D

My girl just dropped what looks like 7 perfect eggs (no slugs). Now I holding thumbs for the part where producing these usually goes wrong, incubation...

That's great. Ask around from people who have hatched them before if there are any tips and tricks. I dont remember hearing any and the last eggs I saw were incubated in the same incubator as the ball pythons. I seem to remember something about the substrate being drier or they were not buried? Research that and make sure.

Thanks guys ! And sorry for the late response.

I used a water to vermiculite ratio of 0.8:1 at 31.5 degrees Celsius from the book "Keeping and breeding Australian pythons" edited by Mike Swan. According to their data they had 411 eggs from 1995 to 2005 with 386 fertile and 89% hatched. Thus far all are still perfect (day 14). I must say it's weird placing eggs on such a dry substrate; to the touch it feels almost dry.

While I was away my dad cut the eggs for me and sent me this pic...All of the eggs have little heads poking out now so hopefully the next pic I post will be of some stunning hatchlings :D
